I've just about broke my brain trying to figure this one out. On startup C shows to have the proper amount of space available but within about 10 minutes it shows to be full. I have SSD's in raid 0, page file is off, there is no system backup, I haven't found any duplicate files hidden or otherwise. I've run Malwarebytes, Adaware, TDSS Killer and Mcafee just because it's there in safe mode and they find nothing. Did a system restore and no joy. This started a few days ago, I think about the time I had a hangup on the bios loading after a restart. I reset the bios and enabled raid and it boots fine, it just loses space at close to 2gb a minute. Restart, space is back....and then it's gone. It acts like a swap file problem but it's not. Also at the same time I got that friggin Mysearchdial crap when I downloaded Alcohol 120 trial to burn the image Kevin sent me. It's been removed but something far more nefarious has assaulted me. Please send help......arghhhhh...gurgle gurggle

Are you using the newest Malwarebytes? They just released a version 2, If you have it go to the program list and then in the Malwarebytes folder run the Chameleon as it looks for more shit.

Also I recommend the following run in this order when cleaning:

TDSSKILLER at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/

JRT at http://thisisudax.org/downloads/JRT.exe

Adwcleaner at http://general-changelog-team.fr/en/downloads/finish/20-outils-de-xplode/2-adwcleaner

Windows All In One Repair at http://www.tweaking.com/  Go to INSTALLER and select Direct Download ***In the final Step of running the program, check everything except remove TEMP Files and Repair HOST Files.

The CCleaner at http://www.piriform.com The run the Cleanup first, then the Registry Repair

If you need specific help I can remote in and help you.

Did all that twice, didn't work. It's holding steady in safe mode so I'm out of ideas other than format and reinstall, it's probably time for a fresh install anyhow and maybe an upgrade to the ssd's. Thank you Brad, your ideas usually work, I just wish I knew what it was so I could be sure not to do it again.

Just for shits, try this, download WiDirStat here:    WinDirStat      and run it.

Wait a minute or two, and run again, as your drive nears getting full, run again, and see if you can identify which folder is growing so fast, it may help narrow down the problem.

I have not heard of this type of issue with storage.  It might be related to the raid chipset or bios.
Try doing some specific searches on your motherboard, raid card/chipset, and ssd drive model.
Also include the description of the problem, "drive space, capacity decreasing", or something to that effect.

Wow I've never heard of this before, on top of that I don't think I could be any help but if it gets to the point to where you need new SSD's or whatnot  talk to me. I work for Amazon and can buy them for you at a discounted price.

Ran WiDirStat and it's my PCTools folder that's blowing up. I've used Registry Mechanic for years and never had a problem. I tried to manually uninstall through regedit but the files to remove were not there. Reinstalled it just to see what would happen and the folders still didn't show up in the registry. Time to put the old girl down and move on to something faster with more storage. Thanks again for the help. Bear, thanks for the offer but I'm gonna get it from Newegg incase I have return issues. Me and J.C. got into a running gun battle with Nvidia over an RMA because the receipt was in his name.

Well.....I guess all it took was for me to admit defeat. I shut it down then decided to go ahead and order a new ssd so started it back up and whaduya know, problem gone.

Oh, nothing was getting discarded. I have an extra PC that just needs a HD so the old ssd's were going in it. Thanks though.
